Pentagon: US to form center in Germany to supply Ukraine with weapons

WORLD, Nov. 05 (YPA) – Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh, said at a news conference on Friday that the United States would form a new assistance group for Ukraine in Germany.

According to her, the group will monitor the supply of weapons to Ukraine in the long term.

“Today, I am pleased to announce that the US Department of Defense will establish the Ukraine Assistance Group, which we will call SAGU. It is a specialized observation post in Wiesbaden, Germany, under the supervision of the US Forces Command in Europe, and will coordinate our efforts.”

According to the Pentagon representative, the new headquarters will allow the United States “to continue to provide long-term support to Ukraine.”
