UAE operates flights from Socotra to Somalia

SOCOTRA, Oct. 28 (YPA) – Airlines of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have operated flights from Yemeni occupied Socotra Island to the Somali city of Bosaso, without any permission or approval from the Yemeni side.

Local sources said that “flights operated by UAE airlines take place every Friday and two flights every week.”

This comes at a time when Abu Dhabi continues to transfer foreign tourists of different nationalities to the archipelago, on UAE visas, without any coordination with the Yemeni authorities.
