Large-scale strike hits Sheikh Othman district in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 26 (YPA) – A large-scale strike took place in the Sheikh Othman district, in a protest against royalties imposed by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias on shops in Yemen southern port city of Aden.

“This is what the shops in Sheikh Othman district look like. They are closed in a large-scale strike after imposing high and unreasonable fees on their owners, which are paid by the simple citizen,” local residents said.
