SANAA, Oct. 25 (YPA) – At least ten children were burned to death on Tuesday by a fire at a school for the blind in central Uganda.
Agence France-Presse quoted the Ugandan police in a statement as saying: “the fire broke out around the first hour of this morning at Salama school for the blind in the village of Luga, about 45 kilometers east of the capital Kampala.
The police added: “the cause of the fire is currently unknown, but so far 11 deaths have been confirmed, and six people in critical condition have been hospitalized”.
