Head of STC’s political administration offers resignation in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 23 (YPA) – A head of the so-called political administration and a member of the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s executive body offered on Sunday his resignation in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

The leader in the STC militias, Radi Al-Muflihi attributed his resignation to what he described as the STC’s failure to achieve the aspirations and demands of the southerners.

The resignations of the leaders of the first row of the STC came at a difficult time for the council, with Saudi Arabia detaining the STC head, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, and returning Rashad Al-Alimi to Aden, in an attempt to reduce the STC’s influence and draining its forces.
