SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – The Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) said on Thursday that the US-backed Saudi-led coalition seized a fuel ship and prevented it from reaching Hodeida port.
The company’s spokesman, Issam Al-Mutawakel, said “the aggression coalition continues its piracy by holding the Gas-loaded vessel (Lady Sarah) despite its inspection and obtaining entry permits from the United Nations.”

Al-Mutawakel noted that the number of fuel ships seized by the coalition has risen to three vessels, one of which is diesel-loaded vessel “Percules” and the other one is the gasoline-loaded vessel (Imperious) .
He held the coalition and the United Nations fully responsible for the repercussions of the continued piracy on oil derivatives ships and for causing financial fines incurred by the Yemeni people.
