ADEN, Oct. 06 (YPA) – Differences between members of Riyadh-formed Presidential Council returned to square zero after Aidaroos al-Zubaidi, who is backed by the UAE, rejected demands made by members of the Islah party and Tariq Afash regarding Shabwa and the eastern provinces.
Sources said that the return of UAE-backed governor of Shabwa, Awad al-Wazir after he had left it in preparation for the appointment of a new governor, blew up differences again between the members of the Riyadh-formed Presidential Council.
The sources added that Al-Alimi, the head of Council prefers to stay in Riyadh because of his inability to run the council.
The same sources pointed out that the clash of policies is reflected in the differences between the members of the Council.
