Foreign Policy: Slovakia and the Czech Republic may stop supporting Ukraine due tointernal situation and energy crisis
WORLD, Oct. 05 (YPA) – A press report published by Foreign Policy has revealed that the Czech Republics and Slovakia may refrain from supporting Ukraine, due to the possibility of domestic political unrest, amid rising energy prices.
According to the newspaper, Eastern European countries are at risk because of lower economic development more than Western European countries, and they are also highly dependent on Russian energy resources.
Last year, Russian gas accounted for 55 percent of total consumption in the Czech Republic and 68 percent in Slovakia.

The author of the article did not rule out the arrival of figures from pro-Russian parties to power in these two countries, by taking advantage of the fear of the local population of losing the possibility of paying for the heating of their homes.
