UAE-funded militia impose exorbitant taxes on trade trucks

SAHBWA, Oct. 03 (YPA) – UAE-funded militia have imposed exorbitant taxes on trucks coming to Ataq city, the Shabwa provincial capital, in eastern Yemen.

Activists confirmed on social media on Monday that al-Dhala security point at the entrance to Ataq city imposeed heavy amounts of money on trucks loaded with foodstuffs.

Thy published the entry voucher for a city citizen’s car for 10,000 riyals, without mentioning the authority imposing these levies.
