Omani professor: War will have dangerous repercussions on region and the world

SANAA, Oct. 03 (YPA) – An Omani professor has warned of serious repercussions and impacts of military operations on the region and the world.

Omani professor Ali Haider al-Lawati said in a tweet, “Yemen has the right to live from its resources. “What is the use of the truce without its humanitarian and legal entitlements,” he asked.

He pointed out that achieving the terms of the truce in Yemen is a necessity for US President Biden in the November elections, stressing that the return of military operations will cause instability of the Gulf and volatility in the oil and gas markets.

Al-Lawati noted that American and European popular discontent will grow from rising prices as winter approaches.
