Parliament discusses report of Oil, Mineral Resources Committee

SANAA, Sept. 06 (YPA) – Yemen’s House of Representatives in Sanaa discussed on Tuesday a report offered by the Development, Oil and Mineral Resources Committee.

In its session, headed by Parliament Speaker Yahya Al-Ra’i, the council approved the report regarding the Austrian company (OMV) selling its stake in the oil sector (S2) Al-Uqla – Shabwa province to SPEC firm.

This came after the commitment of the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Ahmed Daris, to implement the recommendations related to the government side.
