SANAA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected more rain of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, in most Yemeni province.
In its expected bulletin, the center affirmed that rain might prevail over parts of the mountainous heights of the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, Raymah, Dhalea, Bayda, Taiz, and Hodeida, as well as to Lahj, Aden, Abyan, and Shabwa.
It pointed to the possibility of scattered shower on parts of the mountainous heights of Saada, Mahweet, Hajjah, Amran and Sanaa, Abyan, Shabwa, Marib, Hadramout and Mahra.
The center stated that strong winds would range between 30-45 knots in the Socotra archipelago, and 15 to 30 knots in the Gulf of Aden and the eastern and southern coasts.
It called on citizens to take caution against rock and mud slips and low visibility on roads and mountain bends due to rain and low clouds.
