Meteorology warns citizens against heavy rains

SANAA, Aug. 21 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology called on Sunday citizens to stay away from water ways and valleys as a result of heavy rains.

In its forecast, the center called for caution against building collapses, mud and rock slides, and low horizontal visibility due to rain and dense low clouds in Sanaa and the provinces.

It warned the sea-goers and ship captains in the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts of high waves and sea turbulence.
