According to a press release by the ministry, the volume of Russian oil imports decreased by 65.4 percent compared to July 2021 . In addition, during this period, a decrease in the volume of imports of liquefied natural gas by 26.1 percent was recorded.
In June of this year, Japan cut oil imports from Russia to zero. In the January-June period of this year, the volume of imports in this direction decreased by 21.7 percent compared to the same time period of the previous year.
In addition, a drop in imports in July this year compared to the same month in 2021 is observed in such items as coal (40.1 percent), or (84.9 percent), grains (73.1 percent), and vegetables (60 .6 percent). At the same time, imports of fish and fish products increased by 21.7 percent.
