Israeli occupation wages airstrikes on Gaza Strip

GAZA, Aug. 05 (YPA) – Israeli occupation warplanes on Friday launched a series of airstrikes on several locations in the Gaza strip, leaving several injured and at least two dead.

According to Palestinians media, the Zionists targeted an apartment, a civilian car and Islamic Jihad’s locations in the town of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Moreover, health sources also confirmed the death of Taysir Jaabari, a key leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s armed wing, in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza city.

The Israeli occupation has also announced the launch of “a military operation against the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza.”
