Footage shows Giants brigades’ militias collapsing, running away in western coast

HODEIDAH, June 23 (YPA) – Yemeni army media distributed scenes on Friday showing a military offensive carried out by the Yemeni army popular committees against the Giants brigade’s militias backed by the Saudi-led coalition forces in Hodeidah province.

The scenes obtained by Yemen Press Agency (YPA) showed the Giants brigades militias collapsing and running away from their positions in Tuhitah district, leaving a huge amount of arms and ammunition which were seized by the army and popular committees.

The military assault resulted in the liberation of Amishikhia Village which was controlled by militias.

The scenes also showed a number of military vehicles were destroyed, and weapons store full of dozens of ammunition boxes and miscellaneous shells was bombed by the army.
