Military leader of STC escapes assassination attempt in Aden

ADEN, Jun. 28 (YPA) – A military leader of UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) escaped on Tuesday an assassination attempt carried out by elements of security-belt forces in Aden province.

In a statement issued by the fifth battalion of the fifth brigade, they accused elements of security-belt forces of attempt of assassinating their commander, Awad Al-Nobi, the brother of the leaders Mukhtar and Emam Al-Nobi.

The statement considered that the attack was a warning message to the brigade commander, Mukhtar Al-Nobi.
