Coalition troops carry out 131 violations of humanitarian, military truce in Yemen
SANAA, Jun. 23 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 131 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Wednesday, citing a military source.
According to the military source, the coalition’s violations included four ones by flying of fighter jets and Apache planes over Al-Shabaka, Al-Biqaa, Al-Sauh and Al-Omdah areas of Najran and 53 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea and Bayda provinces and border fronts.
The source affirmed that the breaches including recording three ones by military reinforcement for coalition’s mercenaries in Hawmra and Al-Ahtoob fronts of Taiz and Al-Balq Al-Sharqi of Marib, in addition to six violations by establishing combat fortifications in surrounds of Marib, behind Tabat Al-Alam in Al-Kadeha of Taiz, Al-Hammad square in Najran, Al-Dhubair and Al-Amood areas of Jizan.
He also said that 11 violations by an artillery shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi, Al-Akd, Malaa areas of Marib, Saada and border fronts.
The source added that an artillery bombardment targeted the army’s sites in Al-Madafin and Al-Malaheedh areas of Saada, Al-Sabaya and Wadi Jara areas of Jizan region.
