OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jun. 13 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested at least 13 Palestinians from various parts of the occupied territories, Palestinian media reported on Monday.
According to Wafa News Agency, the IOF rounded up two Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking the houses of their families in al-Bireh city neighborhood of Um al-Sharayet.
Moreover, the Zionist soldiers violently dispersed local young men protesting the raid using live ammunition and tear gas canisters, sparking confrontations and injuring one with a live round in the abdomen, who was taken to hospital for treatment.
Furthermore, a driver of an ambulance was detained from Silwad town, east of Ramallah.
In the northern West Bank, soldiers barged into Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus, and arrested two former prisoners before ultimately releasing one of them, according sources.
They also showed up at a house in Beita, conducted a thorough search, and ultimately detained another.
The occupation soldiers forcibly entered two houses in Qabatiya town, south of Jenin, woke up all the residents, ransacked the houses and arrested two former prisoners.
In the southern West Bank, the sources confirmed a raid in al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, leading to the detention of two others.
The soldiers conducted a similar raid in the Hebron city neighborhood of Jabal Abu Rumman, resulting in the detention of a minor.
In Bethlehem district, the military vehicles stormed Ubeidiya town, east of Bethlehem city, where the soldiers rounded up a father of a family as a means to coerce his son, a former prisoner, into turning himself to the army.
Two others were detained from Fasayil village, northwest of Jericho.
