Six killed in attacks on security forces in Burkina

SANAA, Jun. 04 (YPA) – At least two soldiers and four other civilians were killed as a result of clashes with suspected terrorist militants in Burkina Faso.

According to Sputnik, the Burkina Faso army said in a statement yesterday that eight soldiers were injured and at least seven attackers were killed during the clash.

On Wednesday, a reconnaissance unit in northwestern Burkina clashed with “terrorists” in Gomboro, in Sourou province and an officer was killed, the statement also said.
