President stresses on doubling efforts to face aggression escalation

SANAA, June 20 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Wednesday stressed the importance of doubling efforts during the current stage to face the challenges and the aggression escalation in the different fronts.

This came during the president’s meeting with Speaker of the Parliament, Yahya al-Raei, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Abdulsalam Hashwal, and Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Hbatour.

The meeting discussed the developments at the national arena in light of the escalation of Saudi-led coalition in the western coast and its unjust blockade on Yemeni people, which left catastrophic humanitarian situations.

It also touched on the efforts made to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni people and reopen Sanaa International Airport, as well as aspects relating to the political process and other issues discussed with the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, during his recent visit to Sana.
