HADRAMOUT, May 21 (YPA) – Saudi-backed Islah Party has continued to mobilize its militants to in the districts of Wadi Hadramout, east of Yemen.
The UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias pointed out that the Party tried to destabilize security and stability in Hadramout, accusing it of obstructing political consensus.
The STC warned against the consequences of the systematic way of the Islah militants of the “First Military Region” of the leader Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar.
This comes after the leaders of the Islah Party refused a decision issued by a member of the Riyadh-formed Presidential Council and governor of Hadramout, Faraj Al-Bahsani, to appoint a new director of security in the districts the Wadi Hadramout, amid insistence by the STC to implement the decision.
