SANAA, May 18 (YPA) – Head of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, called for compensating the scheduled flights in the UN-sponsored humanitarian armistice.
Abdul-Salam said on Twitter: “The terms of the armistice stipulate two flights per week, and to two specific destinations, Amman and Cairo, which the countries of the Saudi-led coalition did not abide by and wasted a month and a half of the armistice time without any trip to and from Sanaa International Airport.”
“What the situation requires is speeding up the scheduled flights and making use of the remaining time to that missed,” he added.
