Former Yemeni president rejects Al-Alimi’s invitation to return to Aden

SANAA, May 10 (YPA) – The former Yemeni president, Ali Nasser Mohammed, has refused an invitation extended to him by Head of the Riyadh-backed “Presidential Council,” Rashad Al-Alimi, to return to the city of Aden, southern Yemen.

President Ali Nasser Mohammed said Tuesday, in a tweet on the Twitter platform, that Al-Alimi asked him, in a phone call, to come to Aden to consult on the next stage. He confirmed that he apologized to Al-Alimi.

Ali Nasser concluded his tweet by saying: “With regard to the neutralization of Abyan province, he (Al-Alimi) assured me that it will be present in the coming days.”
