Meteorology expects scattered showers in several provinces

SANAA, April 21 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected scattered showers in a number of provinces during the next 24 hours.

In its alert bulletin, the center affirmed that the scattered showers would target in parts of the mountainous provinces from Saada in the north to Taiz in the south, and the Socotra archipelago.

It indicated that the temperatures would continue to rise in the desert areas of the provinces of Marib, Jawf, Saada, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra, ranging between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius.

The center called on citizens in areas where rain expected to stay away from valleys and water ways during and after the rains.
