Russian Foreign Ministry: Negotiations between Moscow and Kiev take place on daily basis

MOSCOW, April 21 (YPA) – Alexei Bolchuk, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Second Department, has  said that negotiations between Moscow and Kiev are taking place  practically  on a daily basis.

“Direct Russian-Ukrainian negotiations are continuing for the time being,” the Russian diplomat told TASS.

The two delegations exchange views and discuss and discuss possible agreements on the settlement of the situation in Ukraine, its neutral and non-bloc future status as well as some other issues.”

To date, there had been three direct rounds in Belarus, the main venue for negotiations, and one in Turkey.

Negotiations are now taking place almost daily via video link.

Russian-Ukrainian negotiations began on February 28, and the Russian delegation led by Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky.
