STC militia kidnap int’l car’s driver in Lahj

LAHJ, April 18 (YPA) – The UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia has snatched a car belonging to an international organization with its driver in Lahj province, south of Yemen.

Local sources confirmed on monday that members of the militia, led by Saleh Al-Sayed Al-Yafi’i, snatched the car belonging to the Child Welfare Organization with its driver, Ahmed Al-Hasani, in Tur al-Baha district.

The sources pointed out that the militia planned to target organizations operating in Lahj.

In turn, director of security for Tur Al Baha district, Suleiman Thabet Al-Otari, accused Al-Yafi’i leader of being behind causing chaos and confusing the security scene in the district.
