Gunmen assassinate physician in Aden

ADEN, March 30 (YPA) – A physician, from Al-Sabiha area of Lahj province, was murdered by unknown gunmen on Wednesday, in the second assassination in 24 hours in the port city of Aden, which is controlled by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).

Human rights sources said that unidentified gunmen shot dead the doctor Mohammad Majdi Al-Shaabi Al-Subaihi, on the coast of Abyan in Khor Maksar area of Aden, killing him on the spot.

This comes after an attempt to assassinate the so-called “Security Belt” leader in Al-Mansoura, Ismail Al-Sabihi, next to his house on Tuesday, hours after the assassination of the security belt leader in Sheikh Othman district, Karam Al-Mashreqi Al-Radfani.

The city of Aden is witnessing a wave of assassinations among the regional STC factions funded by the UAE, amid a state of chaos and lawlessness.
