Dead body of citizen found inside his car in Taiz

TAIZ, March 23 (YPA) – Local residents  on Wednesday have found a dead body of a citizen  inside his car in the city of Taiz, southwestern Yemen.

This was reported by Yemen News Portal,  based on the testimonies of local sources.

According to the sources, a citizen was found dead in his car in front of al-Wadai Fuel station in Wadi al-Qadhi, after a dispute with a group that stabbed him to death.

The citizen has not been identified yet,  one of the sources said.

Meanwhile, The commander of the 1st Battalion of the 22nd Brigade of the “Islah”, Abdullah Abdul Wahid Mansour Al-Mekhlafi, broke into the Al Imtiaz Hotel in al-Hasab area west of Taiz, assaulted  the civilians at the hotel and expelled them after he ransacked the hotel’s surveillance cameras.

Taiz city has been  witnessing a massive insecurity, chaos and a proliferation of armed gangs belonging to leaders of the ” Islah” party, which controls the majority of the city. The Islah’s factions are in a state of infighting on illegal levies and royalties .
