Powerful explosion rocks Jizan region

SANAA, March 22 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia said on Tuesday night that new attacks have hit its territory accusing Yemeni forces of launching these strikes.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that one ballistic missile targeted the Jizan region in southern Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Saudi activists on social media said that powerful explosions rocked Jizan region .

The attack came two days after Yemeni forces carried out a series of offensive operations targeting Aramco facilities in Riyadh, Yanbu, Jeddah and Jizan in Saudi Arabia, with ballistic missiles and drones, as part of the second phase of breaking siege.

The attacks came in response to the continuation of Saudi-led coalition blockade and preventing the arrival of oil ships to reach the port of Hodeidah in western Yemen.
