Moscow: Nuclear war is impossible

MOSCOW, March 10 (YPA) – Igor Vishnevsky, deputy director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Non-Proliferation and Arms Control Department said that an nuclear war is impossible because it means the end of civilization.

He added, “Such a war is impossible. I think the experts are aware of the consequences of the nuclear war.”

“Nuclear war is the end of civilization and should in no way be allowed.”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he does not believe in a nuclear war, stressing that “Russia has never talked about the possibility of a third world war.
