ADEN, March 04 (YPA) – A young man’s body was found on Thursday in the city of Aden, southern Yemen, days after he was kidnapped, local sources reported.
The sources said that citizens found Anwar Al-Hamati’s body, with signs of torture and bullets on the body, in Ja’oula neighborhood, north of Dar Saad area, days after the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia stormed his house and took him to an unknown destination.
Al-Hamati, who belongs to Radfan tribe, was subjected to various forms of torture, shooting and burning his body, which shocked the people of Aden, who described this crime as “terrorist”.
This comes after hundreds of Radfan tribesmen carried out a protest sit-in in front of the security directorate of Aden earlier this week, demanding the release of Al-Hamati.
