Meteorology Center expects rainy weather to continue in several provinces

SANAA, March 01 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology on Tuesday announced the continuation of the instability of the weather in the mountainous heights and parts of the interior plateaus during the next 24 hours.

In its weather bulletin, the center expected scattered rain accompanied by thunderstorms in parts of the western highlands, from Saada province in the north to Taiz and Lahj provinces in the south and it may extend to parts of the interior plateaus.

Light rain is also expected on parts of the western and southern coasts and the adjacent interior areas.

The Center warned citizens in the areas where it is expected to rain not to be in the valleys and streams of torrents during and after the rain. It also warned vehicle drivers on mountainous roads of a decrease in horizontal visibility as a result of rain and fog formation.
