Shura Council calls on Yemenis to stand united to confront coalition’s plots

SANAA, Feb. 18 (YPA) – Shura Council called on the Yemeni people to interact with the “Yemen Hurricane” campaign to mobilize and confront the Saudi-led coalition and its plots targeting Yemen.

The council condemned in statement the war crimes committed by the US-Zionist-backed coalition against civilian objects and facilities, the latest of which was the direct targeting of the building of the Yemeni Company for Yemeni Communications “TeleYemen” with the aim of isolating the Yemeni people from the world.

The statement blamed the United Nations and the countries supporting and participating in the aggression against Yemen, full responsible for all the economic and humanitarian consequences that Yemeni people are subjected to.

The Council praised the recent initiative and vision made by the national negotiating delegation for peace, calling on the United Nations, its Special Envoy to Yemen and the international community to deal with the initiative responsibly for alleviating the humanitarian and economic conditions of the Yemeni people resulting from the aggression and the siege for 7 years.
