Israeli aggression targets south of Damascus

DAMASCUS, Feb. 17 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy has launched a new aggression targeting some points in the vicinity of Zakiya town, south of Damascus, causing material damage, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported citing a military source.

According to the military source, at about 11:35 p.m. on Wednesday, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression with a number of ground-to-ground missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points near Zakiya town, south of Damascus.

The source added that the aggression caused some material damages.

The Israeli occupation is carrying out raids on Syrian positions allegedly belonging to pro-Iranian factions in several areas of Syria, while the occupation reiterates that it will continue to respond to what it describes as Iran’s attempts to consolidate its military presence in Syria.
