2 women along with their children taken to STC’s prisons in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 17 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia took two women and six children, originally from Tihama area of Hodeida province, to one of its detention centers in the city of Aden.

Journalist Alia Fouad said in a post on her Facebook site,  Wednesday, “The Criminal Investigation in Aden detained two women with their husbands, one of whom was wounded, and six children, aged between 2 to 8 years old, in the Criminal Investigation prison.”

The arrest of the two families, whose origins are from Tihama, and the children born in Aden, came against the background of the state’s lands that were given to citizens in Al-Dakka in Mualla area, she explained.

The journalist indicted that the two families are not to blame and do not have shelter and housing, demanding the release of the women and their children from the criminal investigation detention center in the city.
