Islah militants cut off internet on Hadhramaut

HADHRAMAUT, Feb. 13 (YPA) – Elements of the so-called First Military Region in Hadhramaut province, eastern Yemen, have cut off  the Optical lysis for the internet  between al-Alib and Saah areas, resulting in the blackout of the Internet in the provinces of Hadramaut, Marib and Jawf .

Media affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) accused the Islah militants in Hadhramaut of cutting off communications and the Internet to areas of the directorate of Seiyun in an attempt to thwart the upcoming event planed by Hadhrami Uprising.

Hadhramaut’s people  continue to flock to the  City of Seiyun to take part in tonight’s event to demand the handover of valley security to Hadhramaut’s sons.

In an attempt to thwart the million man march, the First Military Region forces  prevented many delegations of Hadhramaut’s sons from passing through Seiyun, which the Second Hadrami Gift Command called for to remedy, before the situation exploded.

Additionally , militias in the first military region reportedly arrested a number of STC’s leaders in the directorates.

Activists documented the security deployment of Islah militias in Seiyun as an attempt to thwart the million man march .
