Israeli occupation gunboats chase fishermen’s boats west of Rafah

GAZA, Feb. 12 ( YPA) – The Palestinian fishermen’s committees confirmed on Saturday evening that there is an intensive presence of Israeli occupation military boats west of Rafah port and is firing lanterns 3 miles away.

The occupation gunboats chased Palestinian fishermen’s boats in the sea of Rafah governorate, southern Gaza Strip, The Palestine Today news agency reported, citing local sources.

The sources added, the occupation boats stationed in the Rafah Sea parade chased the fishermen and their boats into the sea, opened water cannons towards them and forced them into retreat.

No causalities have been reported.
