2 civilians killed in shooting in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 29 (YPA) – At least two civilians were killed and three others were wounded on Saturday in a shooting in Khormaksar district of Aden province, southern Yemen, local sources reported.

The sources explained that a gunman opened fire in a popular market for selling “Qat” leaves in Khormaksar, killing two people, one of whom was a qat seller, and wounding three passers-by, who were transferred to Al-Jumhuriya Hospital.

This incident comes as a result of the insecurity state and the spread of armed gangs, amid the complete absence of security services in the city.
