Strong earthquake rattles Greece

SANAA, Jan. 10 (YPA) – A strong earthquake rattled Greece late Sunday evening, GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences reported.

According to the center, the earthquake measured 5.8 on the Richter scale.

The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres, the center added.

Greece is located in an earthquake zone and is often shaken, but often without causing casualties.
