Missiles hit Turkish-occupied Zelikan basein northern Iraq

VINEVEH, Jan. 03 (YPA) – The Turkish-occupied Zelikan base in Bashiqa district in Nineveh province came under rocket attacks  on Monday.

Iraqi media sources said that a batch of rockets targeted the Zelikan military base of the Turkish occupation forces

The Turkish army has not released any information about the attack nor reported any casualties or damage to the military base.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

In late 2015, Turkish regime forces violated Iraqi territory and stationed themselves in the Bashiqa area near Mosul, which the Iraqi government considered an aggression against Iraq, a violation of its sovereignty and a violation of international law, and demanded the withdrawal of Turkish troops.
