SANAA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – About 27 Saudi-led coalition militants have been killed and 41 wounded in an unknown explosion’s initial toll in Shabwa province, east of Yemen.
According to local sources, the explosion hit on Thursday the coalition-run Khamouma camp in Markha area, after they received the camp from the Saudi-backed Islah leaders.
A hospital in Ataq city issued a distress call to donate blood for dozens of wounded who arrived at it during the last hours.
This came after violent explosions hit Ataq Airport after UAE backed militia took over it on Monday, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of Emirati officers.
The UAE overthrew ex-Islah governor of Shabwa, Mohammed Saleh bin Adio, and appointed Sheikh Awad al-Wazir Al-Awlaki, who arrived on Wednesday, on a Saudi military plane, at the airport.
