MARIB, Dec. 08 (YPA) – The Sanaa forces were able on Wednesday to take control of a strategic mountain overlooking Marib city from the southwest side, after fierce battles with the Saudi-led coalition forces and their armed groups.
Local sources confirmed that the Sanaa forces launched a large-scale attack, from the sites they had recently controlled in the range of the eastern and middle ‘Al-Balaq’ Mountains, on the coalition forces’ sites southwest of Wadi Abidah.
Despite the coalition’s air raids on the seam areas, especially in the area of Wadi Abidah and the tops of Al-Balaq Mountains, Sanaa forces managed to impose their control on the strategic “Shabakah” mountain overlooking large parts of the city of Marib.
