Parliament speaker calls on heads of ‘Arab and Islamic’ parliaments to put end to Saudi Aggression

SANAA, Nov. 11 (YPA) – The Speaker of Yemeni Parliament Sheikh Yahya Ali Al-Rai sent on Wednesday a letter to the heads of Arab and Islamic Parliaments regarding the latest developments at the local and Arab levels.

In his letter, Al-Rai called on the heads of Arab and Islamic Parliaments to move to put an end to the brutal Saudi-Emirati aggression against Yemen and the unjust siege imposed on the country for seven years.

“Yemen is subjected to thousands of air strikes launched by the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition, but we have not heard of any Arab condemnation or denunciation of the massacres and war crimes at a time when the world turns upside down if Yemen defends its sovereignty, security and stability against the hordes of invaders and occupiers,” he added.

Al-Rai also called for condemning the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and putting an end to the crimes it is committing.
