Islah militants prevent ‘food and water’ from reaching STC militia camp in Shabwah

SHABWAH, Oct. 29 (YPA) – Islah militants prevented food and water from entering the UAE-funded “Shabwani elite” inside the Al-Alam camp in the district of  Jardan, Shabwah province.

Local sources confirmed that a number of tribes loyal to the  Southern Transitional Council (STC) went to the vicinity of  the Al-Alam  camp in an attempt to break the siege of the “Shabwani elite” imposed by the Islah militants for the third day in a row.

The sources explained that armed groups of tribes formed an armed fence  around the of Camp, amid intense tension between them and the gunmen of the “Brigade 21” loyal to Islah, due to the detention of food and water supplying heading  to the “Shabwani elite”.

The  tribes insist on letting the food and water to enter the campby force.

According to the sources, Hadi’s Shabwah governor province, loyal to al-Islah party, Mohammad Saleh bin Adiu sent tribal mediation to the commander of Al-Alam camp, Abdullah al-Nassi, to get out safely  and hand over the camp. However, al-Nasis rejected bin Adiu’s offer on the pretext that he took over the camp from the coalition.

Saudi Arabia has plunged Hadi government and Islah party into the most dangerous military trap with the “STC”, through which it was able to drag the latter from Hadhramaut towards the city of Ataq through camp al-Alam, away from the so-called “Riyadh Agreement”, which failed in its multiple versions, according to military observers.
