Saudi Aramco is the most polluting company on earth: “Forbes”

WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 (YPA) – The American economic newspaper, “Forbes”, has revealed the details of the famous Saudi Aramco company share of global emissions, in light of the announcement of the green initiative.

The newspaper said that Saudi Aramco is responsible for 4.38% of global emissions. It pointed out that this makes Aramco the most polluting company on earth.

In related context, the British “Financial Times” newspaper also said that there are doubts about the credibility of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s pledges in his speech on the Green Initiative.

The widely-circulated newspaper published a report on the initiative and the extent to which it could be implemented on the ground. It stated that Saudi Arabia burns about one million barrels of oil per day to supply the electricity system with fuel, with no progress on alternative energy projects.

Bin Salman’s announcement of the launch of two initiatives to plant 50 billion trees raised questions about his return to media propaganda to cover his failure. He appeared to deceive once again on the Saudi people, who were aware of his illusions, to announce the “Green Saudi Arabia” and “Green Middle East” initiatives.

He explained that they aim to plant 50 billion trees, making it the largest project in the history of the globe.
