SHABWA, Oct. 19 (YPA) – Islah militias stormed on Tuesday in sit-in square of Nissab district in Shabwa province, east of Yemen, local sources said.
The sources reported that the special forces of Islah raided the square, tore down the tents and attacked citizens who denounced the deteriorating living conditions due to currency collapse against foreign currencies.
In a statement, the branch of southern transitional council in Nissab district considered demolition tents by Islah militias a transgression of all human values and principles.
The statement pointed out that Shabwa authorities oppose any orientations against Islah orientations.
