SHABWA, Sept. 20 (YPA) – Saudi forces threatened on Monday to bomb the homes several sheikhs of Bayhan tribes in Shabwa province, after the Saudi-backed Islah governor raised the coordinates.
According to tribal sources, the commander of the Saudi forces in Shabwa, “Abu Sultan”, informed a number of Bayhan sheikhs that he had received instructions using fighter jets to break the siege on the oil fields of the American Hunt Oil Company in Osaylan area, which are seized by the militants of the Balharith tribes during the past two days.
According to the sources, the Saudi commander identified the names of a number of Belharith sheikhs wanted, according to a list submitted by Shabwa’s governor, Mohammed Saleh bin Adyo, appointed by Islah Party, to the Saudi forces and to Interior Minister of Saudi-exiled Hadi’s government, calling for targeting the sheikhs’ homes wanted internationally.
The sources added that bin Adyo sent an additional copy of sheikhs’ names to the American forces, which are monitoring developments near the company.
This came after the governor of Islah in Shabwa described the Balharith tribes as “terrorists” after impeding the arrival of military reinforcements, which the Islah pushed on Sunday towards the Osaylan fields, which left dead and wounded several tribesmen.
