President Al-Mashat: We are concerned with how to alleviate citizen’s suffering

SANAA, Sept. 15 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat affirmed on Wednesday that “serving a citizen should be a priority towards every official in the state.

He added, “We are concerned with how to alleviate the suffering of the citizen, as a result of the arbitrary measures practiced by the US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition on Yemen.

During presiding over a cabinet meeting, Al-Mashat directed the adoption of the Hijri date in all state transactions, and that the educational process start from the month of Muharram to the beginning of the month of Ramadan each year.

Al-Mashat pointed out that “the sacrifices made by the Yemeni people are very great, stressing that “the will of the Yemeni people is liberation from Guardianship and independence.”

“The enemies want our people to be broken and under guardianship, and this is what we did not and will not accept, even if the war have been continued for years,” he added.

Mr. President stressed the importance of turning all the difficulties imposed by the countries of aggression on the Yemeni people into successful opportunities to build modern state.

Al-Mashat went on to say that “everyone is interested in continuing in steadfastness until victory is achieved for the Yemeni people, and the responsibility requires more efforts to reform state institutions in a way that serves the citizen.”

He considered the pressures exerted by the countries of aggression on Yemen to be the most successful way to motivate Yemenis to produce and achieve Yemeni business par excellence in all military, economic and other fields.
