Medics say hundreds of pro-coalition injured soldiers airlifted to Egypt, India, Sudan for treatment
ADEN, June 9 (YPA) – Military medical sources in Aden said on Saturday that a total of 224 pro-coalition soldiers wounded in the western coast battles last week by the Yemeni army have been airlifted to hospitals in Cairo, capital of Egypt, for treatment.
The sources, who spoke to Yemen Press Agency on condition of anonymity, also said that other dozens of injured soldiers were airlifted to India and Sudan for treatment.
They said hospitals in Aden city and Lahj province received last week more than 173 wounded soldiers, while Mocha and Tour Al-Baha hospitals in Taiz province received more than 400 injured.
